The Anchor Bookham
The Anchor Bookham pub exterior and beer garden, a popular spot for dog walkers in Surrey

    Dogs Welcome

    Dogs Welcome at The Anchor

Water bowls at the ready. Inside, outside, muddy boots and all.

    A proper post-walk pub

Dogs are welcome inside the pub and out in the garden. We keep water bowls to hand, and there's plenty of space to settle down with your dog after a good walk. The garden is a particular favourite in the warmer months: parasols, picnic benches and the full menu served outside.

You're in good walking country here. Bookham Common is on our doorstep, and Norbury Park and the Polesden Lacey estate are a short drive. Time your walk for lunch: the kitchen is open Tuesday 12 to 3, Wednesday to Saturday 12 to 10, and Sunday 12 to 3 for roasts.
